About Course
Small tasks can quietly eat 8 hours of your week. That’s a day. Routine enquiries, meeting notes, follow-ups, reading reports, drafting updates. None of it is hard. All of it adds up.
The Sharp Leader is a 6-lesson online course for CEOs, owners and board directors. It shows you how to hand that work to AI, safely, using the tools you already have: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Microsoft Copilot.
What you’ll be able to do
- Find where your hours go in a 15-minute audit, then fix the biggest drain first
- Brief AI like a capable chief of staff, so you stop explaining yourself every time
- Turn reports, board papers and meetings into one-page briefs and clear minutes
- Ask your own notes questions and get answers with sources
- Bring AI into your organisation with a simple one-page policy your board will understand
The lessons
The Basics
- Lesson 1: Delegate, Don’t Google. Stop typing questions into a search box. Start briefing AI like a chief of staff, with one formula you’ll use in every lesson.
- Lesson 2: Find Your Eight Hours. A 15-minute audit of the last two weeks. You finish with your top three time drains and a clear first target.
- Lesson 3: Build Your Right Hand. Set up an assistant that knows your voice, your business and your priorities, and set the safety rules once.
And Beyond
- Lesson 4: Decide on One Page. Reports and board papers become one-page briefs. Meetings become minutes with decisions, owners and dates. AI argues against your decision before you make it.
- Lesson 5: Ask Your Own Notes. Build a simple second brain in OneNote, Google Docs or Notion, then ask it questions.
- Lesson 6: Lead the Rollout. The four board questions, a one-page AI use policy, getting staff on board, one quick win, and measuring the return.
What’s in every lesson
- 3 to 4 short videos, each 5 to 12 minutes
- Notes: a 2 to 3 page summary
- A worksheet you fill in and can save as a PDF
- 8 to 10 copy-paste prompts that work in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot
- A “Do this in your tool” card with setup steps for each assistant
What you’ll need
- One AI assistant. A free plan is fine for lessons 1 and 2. A paid plan (about A$30 a month) is recommended for lessons 3 to 5.
- Your existing email, calendar and documents (Microsoft 365 or Google)
- Your existing meeting transcription (Zoom, Teams or Meet)
- A place for notes (OneNote, Google Docs or Notion)
No new software to buy or learn. If your workplace only allows Copilot, the whole course works in Copilot.
Bonus
A free 30-minute Time-Back call with David, plus a one-page Time-Back Plan: your top three time drains and the first fix for each. Book it within 30 days of joining.
